Many families would like to have a website dedicated their family. When you are building your family website, consider creating you own website using one of the free services available on the internet. This will save you money in set up and in monthly fees some hosting accounts charge.
Most of the free sites for building websites use software that in literally drag and drop. You do not need to know XML or HTML the programming languages on the internet. You can easily add pictures and videos also.
There are thousands of sites to chose from. Just go to one of the search engines such as Google.com or Yahoo.com and type “free website” in the search box. I have uses Squidoo, Hubpages, Google Blog, Blogger, Weeby and others and it was much easier than you would think. Just create a log in and away you go.
Sharing your log in with you family is a great idea so they can all update the site with their information such as family events, vacation pictures, family photo, and other things that go on in their lives. That way everyone can keep up to date. You can ever advertise on these sites and put in links to other websites and blogs.
Many of my nieces and nephews are getting summer jobs while they are in school. Carol is working as an intern for Bovis Construction, Jill is working for Safeway, and Jason just got a job at Fry’s.
